Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Konstantin Stepanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Claudio Escorre!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stepanov misses with a lunging right hand
and Escorre counters with a crisp one two that drops Stepanov! Escorre thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Stepanov to his feet! Stepanov is in big trouble!
Escorre gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Escorre misses with a wild body shot.
Stepanov changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Stepanov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Escorre doesn't seem bothered though.
Jab, jab by Stepanov - just one landing.
Escorre throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Escorre misses with a body shot.
Stepanov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Stepanov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Escorre holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Stepanov goes for a takedown attempt but Escorre pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Escorre misses with a two punch combination.
Stepanov throws a big counter combination but Escorre scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Escorre throws a nice looking combination but Stepanov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stepanov shoots in for a double leg but Escorre sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Stepanov throws a big shot that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Escorre misses with a few strikes there.
Stepanov tests Escorre's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Claudio Escorre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Escorre throws a body punch but Stepanov moves out of range.
Stepanov getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stepanov. Escorre does a little dance to reset his feet.
Stepanov throws a hook to the side of Escorre's head but Escorre sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Escorre throws a counter combo.
A punch combination from Escorre misses.
Escorre misses with a few strikes there.
Stepanov finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Escorre's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Stepanov falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Claudio Escorre!
