Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Soap Aandn (ranked 7010 p4p, 5902 weight class) and Julio Marquez (ranked 450 p4p, 415 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julio Marquez!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aandn avoids the body shot from Marquez.
Marquez tries to clinch up but Aandn circles away and keeps his distance.

Marquez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aandn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Aandn is fighting off a takedown attempt but Marquez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Aandn to the mat. Aandn regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Well Marquez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
