Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Powers.
Mcbasketball closes the distance but Powers moves to the side

and Powers counters with a shoot takedown. Mcbasketball fights it but they end up in guard.
Mcbasketball has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at EFC Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Mcbasketball is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Powers is aware though and is defending well.

Powers drops back looking for a leg! Mcbasketball is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcbasketball manages to kick Powers off! Powers jumps back into Mcbasketball's guard.
Mcbasketball is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mcbasketball is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Powers doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mcbasketball.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcbasketball is stalling here. Powers is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mcbasketball seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Powers has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Powers is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mcbasketball looks calm but he's in trouble here. Powers gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mcbasketball is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Powers lets go of the hold and Mcbasketball can pop his arm back in it's socket.
