The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz instigates a clinch.
Thompson Iv jumps guard but Diaz stands there with Thompson Iv around his waist. Thompson Iv gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Diaz lands a takedown into guard.
Diaz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Diaz throws a big right hand that misses.
Diaz lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Diaz slips nicely into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Diaz in particular looking to stall.
