These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Bhoy.
Bhoy slips a straight right by Johns.
Bhoy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bhoy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Johns shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bhoy but Bhoy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
