Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ispa Hunt (ranked 4975 p4p, 4442 weight class) and Fin Tankki (ranked 396 p4p, 369 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt shoots for a double leg takedown but Tankki sprawls well. He's pushed Hunt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tankki tries to clinch up
and Hunt counters with a series of strikes. Tankki will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hunt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hunt.
Tankki checks the leg kick nicely there.
Tankki changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Hunt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hunt wants it to stay on the feet.
Tankki moves in looking to clinch but Hunt pushes him off.

Hunt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hunt tries to get out of the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hunt bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Tankki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hunt is aware though and is defending well.

Tankki holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hunt tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Hunt seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hunt avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Hunt shoots for a takedown but Tankki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Hunt counters with a left and a right that stings Tankki.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hunt works to advance to full mount. Tankki defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Hunt jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tankki manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Tankki is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hunt controlling from side mount.
Hunt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tankki can do to turn this around?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hunt decides to stand back up. Hunt steps back and let's Tankki get back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tankki has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fin Tankki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
