And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lester Neich!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leo dives in and grabs Neich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Neich pushes down on Leo's head and hops out.
Neich lands a slapping body shot.
Leo shoots and misses
enabling Neich to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice takedown defense from Neich. No joy for Leo on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tubo Leo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Neich thuds a left hand into Leo's body.
Leo tries for a takedown but Neich circles away easily
and Leo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Leo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Neich slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Neich has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Neich connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Leo is rocked!
Neich throws a right hand that Leo ducks under and follows up with a left that Leo also avoids with ease.
Oh Leo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Neich throws an overhand right that drops Leo like a sack of potatoes! Neich dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
