Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Vettori (ranked 3114 p4p, 4914 weight class) and Noa Hon (ranked 387 p4p, 521 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Noa Hon!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vettori lands a jab to the head.
Hon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vettori.

Hon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vettori moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Vettori manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hon on his heels. He'll look to pass Hon's guard now, I'm sure.
Hon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hon is looking to stand back up but Vettori counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hon.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vettori looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Vettori lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Vettori looking to finish Hon with some ground and pound. This is bad for Hon!

Vettori pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Post fight, Marvin Vettori took to the microphone: 'I'm the best in this divison, I can beat'em all, come on Magnus, you know I deserve the title shot!!!'.
