Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yabai shoots in and gets a takedown into Balsim's guard.
Yabai would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Balsim looking to control.
Balsim throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Yabai missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Yabai wants to control from the top but Balsim keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yabai not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Balsim pulls Yabai in close to his closed guard and prevents Yabai from doing any damage or advancing position.

Yabai trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Yabai must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Balsim not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Balsim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yabai doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yabai manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Balsim is trying to keep Yabai in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yabai looking to sit in guard and control but Balsim gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Yabai throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Yabai wants to stand up but Balsim is controlling him.

Rasputin Balsim showed his dominance in that final round.
