PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Sturn Slugger (ranked 3282 p4p, 3086 weight class) and Little Bastard (ranked 161 p4p, 149 weight class). Bastard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Side to Side kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sturn Slugger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Little Bastard!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Bastard misses the target.
Slugger stuns Bastard with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bastard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Slugger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Slugger checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Some bone on bone action there as Slugger checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Slugger looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bastard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slugger blocks a low kick nicely.
Left hook, right uppercut from Slugger.
Slugger throws a series of strikes that have Bastard backpedaling.

Bastard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and as Bastard tries to reset, Slugger cracks him with a perfect counter right hand that drops him to the mat! Bastard is trying to get up but he's doing the chicken dance and face plants back to the floor - that's enough for the referee and he's called the bout! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Sturn Slugger!
Our winner, Sturn Slugger, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
