Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Carter!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Carter!
Carter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Carter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Thermo is not content to let Carter control the position.
Carter working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thermo is looking for a sweep.
Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thermo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Carter postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carter stands up over Thermo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Thermo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Carter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Thermo has his foot on Carter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carter works his way back into a safe position though.

Thermo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Thermo looking to control but Carter is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
