Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hero Shima (ranked 1761 p4p, 2475 weight class) and Harry Kane (ranked 199 p4p, 265 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shima might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to C. R. E. A. M. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane swings for the body but Shima moves out of range.
Shima tries to counter by clinching up but Kane breaks away and moves out of range.
Kane moves away from the strike by Shima.
Kane is looking to score with low kicks.
Kane is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Harry Kane has been cut.
Kane tries to clinch there but Shima circles away.
Shima seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Shima checks a low kick from Kane.
Shima throws an overhand right that lands on Kane's shoulder, as Kane tries to avoid the shot.

Kane looking to score a takedown here. Shima is defending well but Kane drives through and ends up in Shima's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kane is sitting in close to Shima's body. Shima has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kane is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kane is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Shima.
