Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Powell (ranked 3862 p4p, 23505 weight class) and Demon Mask (ranked 395 p4p, 576 weight class). The key to victory for Andre Powell has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andre Powell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Demon Mask! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powell swinging wildly here.
Powell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mask paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mask circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mask with the counter takedown but Powell avoids it easily. Powell lands with a nice combination. Mask backs away looking to recover. Powell throws a body shot but no joy. Mask with a poor takedown and Powell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mask thinking. Andre Powell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Powell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Powell wants to clinch up but Mask keeps it at a distance. Mask misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Powell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mask. Mask closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mask shoots in but Powell avoids the takedown attempt easily. Andre Powell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demon Mask.
That's one minute gone in the round. Powell rushes Mask and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mask pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice takedown defense from Powell. No joy for Mask on that attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mask is defended easily by Powell. Mask walks into a left hand. Powell lands a jab to the head.
Mask shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Powell as he avoids it easily. Powell shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mask eats them both and turns towards Powell to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Powell catches Mask with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Mask forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Andre Powell!
