Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Trumpet (ranked 270 p4p, 297 weight class) and Roland Weudke (ranked 36 p4p, 40 weight class). Roland Weudke has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Donald Trumpet's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donald Trumpet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roland Weudke!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trumpet throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Weudke stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Weudke throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Trumpet throws a poor cross that misses
and Weudke counters with a thumping low kick.
No joy there for Weudke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Trumpet avoids a kick to the body.
The crowd cheers as Weudke lands an impressive looking overhand right. Trumpet doesn't seem phased though.
Weudke keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Trumpet.
Weudke ducks right into an uppercut from Trumpet.
Trumpet misses the shot to the body.
Weudke throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Trumpet counters with a nice uppercut.
Weudke dodges the punch combination from Trumpet.
Weudke now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Trumpet displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Weudke throws out the jab.
Trumpet swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Donald Trumpet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trumpet takes a swing at Weudke's ribcage but misses.

and Weudke counters with an outside leg kick.
Trumpet fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Trumpet is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Weudke.

Trumpet does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Weudke replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Trumpet blocks it well.
Weudke throws a chopping leg kick but Trumpet manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Trumpet uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Weudke takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Weudke throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Weudke avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Weudke on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Weudke throws a quick inside leg kick.
Trumpet uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Weudke.
Trumpet throws a body shot but no joy.
Trumpet definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Trumpet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Weudke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trumpet sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Trumpet throws a lazy uppercut
and Weudke counters with a slapping leg kick.

The fighters circle momentarily. Weudke darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Weudke throws a predictable looking body shot
and Trumpet counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Trumpet throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

It looks like Roland Weudke has been cut.
Trumpet throws out a loose jab but Weudke uses good head movement to avoid it.
Weudke wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Weudke moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Trumpet is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Weudke takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Weudke looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Trumpet on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Weudke. Weudke obviously looking to wear him down.
Trumpet swings for the body but Weudke moves out of range.
Weudke fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Trumpet has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A little jabbing left from Weudke on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Weudke connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Weudke has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Trumpet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Donald Trumpet will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Roland Weudke seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Trumpet throws a series of punches but Weudke avoids them all with ease.
Weudke tries a quick counter leg kick but Trumpet is wise to it.
Trumpet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Weudke moves away.

Weudke fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Trumpet looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Trumpet misses the shot to the body.
Weudke now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Trumpet throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Trumpet rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Weudke moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trumpet uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Weudke.
Weudke keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Trumpet bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Weudke connects with a good right hand that stumbles Trumpet. Trumpet circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Trumpet lands the left hand.
Weudke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Trumpet misses with an uppercut. Weudke saw that one coming.
Weudke tries to score with a low kick but Trumpet moves his leg out of the way.
Trumpet throws a jab when Weudke was well out of range.

and Weudke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It seemed like Weudke was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Weudke has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Trumpet.
Weudke slips a straight right by Trumpet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trumpet misses with a shot to the body

and Weudke counters with a crisp one two that drops Trumpet! Weudke thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Trumpet to his feet! Trumpet is in big trouble!

Oh Trumpet is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Weudke cracks Trumpet with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Trumpet tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Weudke pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Trumpet is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roland Weudke!
A very excited looking Roland Weudke made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
