Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slaissi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Taki Baki!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Slaissi. Baki does a little dance to reset his feet.
Baki misses with a lunging right hand
and Slaissi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Slaissi misses the shot to the body.
Slaissi clinches with his opponent.
Baki wants to break the clinch but can't.
Slaissi lands a nice shot to the body.
Slaissi has Baki pushed against the cage.
Slaissi lands with a light punch inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Slaissi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Slaissi pushes Baki back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Baki looks winded!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Slaissi lands a left hand that snaps the head of Baki backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Slaissi.
A right handed body shot lands from Slaissi.
Slaissi lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slaissi makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Slaissi throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Slaissi lands with a right to the head.
Slaissi has Baki pressed against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Slaissi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Slaissi pushes Baki against the cage. Slaissi is working some dirty boxing. Slaissi pushes off with a quick right hook! Baki goes down! Baki tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Slaissi moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kimbo Slaissi!
