And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pietro Marchionni!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Francis DeMontford and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa tries to close the distance and clinch but Marchionni swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Marchionni misses with an uppercut
and Marchionni takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Barbosa avoids the body shot from Marchionni.
Barbosa punishes Marchionni's body with a nice straight punch.
Marchionni has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Barbosa lands a big right hand that sends Marchionni crashing to the mat! Barbosa stays standing though and waves Marchionni back to his feet!
Marchionni is rocked!
We've been told by Barbosa's head coaches at The Rubber Guard Emporium that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marchionni is holding his hands too far apart here. Barbosa throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Marchionni is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
