Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Danilov (ranked 1372 p4p, 907 weight class) and Jackson Pollock (ranked 187 p4p, 127 weight class). Pollock has chosen Free Jazz as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ruslan Danilov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Pollock!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollock throws a body shot but no joy.
Danilov attempts a counter takedown but Pollock avoids it well and moves away.
Danilov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pollock.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Pollock.
Pollock fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Danilov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Danilov throws a nice looking combination but Pollock bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A nice side step and Pollock releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Pollock lands a really nice looking cross but Danilov seems unphased.

Pollock feints and then cracks Danilov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Danilov down.
Danilov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pollock to the ground. Danilov is now in Pollock's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Danilov seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Pollock is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Pollock manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Danilov manages to get himself to full guard.
Danilov is looking to cinch up a triangle. Pollock throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Danilov's body to avoid the submission. Danilov has instead reached around Pollock's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Danilov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
