Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Tug (ranked 24119 p4p, 24631 weight class) and Josh Ryder (ranked 599 p4p, 637 weight class). Josh Ryder has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Tug! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Ryder! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryder ducks right into an uppercut from Tug.
It looks like Josh Ryder has been cut. Tug lands with a straight right. Ryder didn't see that one coming. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ryder. Tug wants to get back to his feet but Ryder is dominant here and he's now got Tug's back! Ryder working for a choke but Tug is defending well. Will Ryder go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ryder lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Ryder.
Ryder is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Tug. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Ryder gets his hands free as Tug looks to control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ryder is trying to stick to Tug's back but Tug is turning into Ryder. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ryder's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Tug. Ryder trying to keep a closed guard but Tug is proving a slippery customer.
Ryder is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tug tries to get to full guard but Ryder has control of the leg. Ryder is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Tug moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Tug is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ryder trying to control the position from guard on top but Tug is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tug wants to stand up but Ryder is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tug looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ryder trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ryder trying to control the position from guard on top but Tug is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tug is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tug looking for a sweep. Not yet Tug, not yet. Ryder is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tug looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ryder is one step ahead there. Tug is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ryder is controlling him. Tug has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the ropes to get back to his feet. Ryder has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the ropes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryder keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tug's efforts to push away. Tug looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ryder escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mark Tug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryder pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tug is out of range and Ryder settles back down. Tug throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ryder stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tug tries to sprawl but Ryder drives through with a takedown into half guard. Tug trying to hold on to Ryder's head to control him but Ryder postures up.
Ryder decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Sloppy strikes from Tug. Those never looked like landing. Tug stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tug wants it to stay on the feet. Ryder looks winded! Tug scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. A right-left combo lands from Tug.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tug lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Ryder sprawling to the canvas. Tug follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Ryder hang on?
That has opened up Josh Ryder's cut even more. Ryder punching from the bottom.

Tug looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Ryder tries to roll over but Tug keeps him under control. Tug is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ryder is just riding it out for now. Tug eventually gives up the hold. Ryder tries to roll over but Tug keeps him under control. Ryder trying to control but Tug postures up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Tug dominated that round. The cut man is working on Josh Ryder's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Tug lands a hook that stumbles Ryder back into the ropes. Tug follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Ryder to the canvas! Tug pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Ryder has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Mark Tug!
