Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yowis Ben (ranked 2600 p4p, 6383 weight class) and Rita Stienis (ranked 280 p4p, 532 weight class). Rita Stienis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yowis Ben!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Rita Stienis!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ben feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Stienis wants to stand but Ben is controlling the position.
Stienis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ben. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ben is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Ben trying to control the position from guard on top but Stienis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ben throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stienis works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ben is in close to Stienis's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ben wants to control from the top but Stienis keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stienis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ben won't allow Stienis to get back to his feet.

Ben postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ben passes Stienis's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ben connects with a nice short shot to Stienis's temple.
Stienis is refusing to be controlled, as Ben sits in half guard.
Ben content to control rather than advance.
Ben seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Ben moves nicely into side control.

Ben scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Stienis to see if he's OK.

Ben tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ben has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Stienis is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ben connects with a decent elbow.

Ben prevents Stienis from escaping the position.

Ben looks up at the clock and then as Stienis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ben smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
A big shot lands for Ben! That's hurt Stienis! Will he recover? Ben fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
