PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Illegal Immigrant (ranked 5841 p4p, 4195 weight class) and Vlakan Targa (ranked 579 p4p, 497 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Immigrant might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Immigrant Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Immigrant cracks Targa with a right hand to the side of the head.
Immigrant thows a left - swing and a miss!
Targa ducks under a wild hook from Immigrant.
Immigrant waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Targa.
Immigrant loads up on a big right hand but Targa slips the punch.
Immigrant leaves Targa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The fighters circling - Immigrant throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Targa staying out of range there.
Immigrant throws a jab when Targa was well out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Immigrant misses its intended target.
Immigrant swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Targa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Immigrant's waist but Immigrant gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Targa off to one side.

and Targa counters with a single leg into guard. Immigrant didn't expect that.

Targa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Targa seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Immigrant is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
