Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kake Kummola (ranked 4461 p4p, 4704 weight class) and Rufus Rutger (ranked 513 p4p, 523 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Kummola closes the distance and pushes Rutger back into the cage.
Come on Kummola - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Rutger swings wildly with an uppercut but Kummola uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kummola blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Rutger misses with some punches.
Rutger looking to slow down the pace here.
Kummola lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Kummola is pushing Rutger up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Rutger's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kummola's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
