Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hendrix Cabrera (ranked 4700 p4p, 5667 weight class) and Duncan Port (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera with a jab.

Port tries to move into range but Cabrera moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Cabrera stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Cabrera is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Port shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cabrera sprawls well. Cabrera wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Port gets slowly back to his feet.
Hendrix Cabrera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duncan Port.

Cabrera gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Port takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Port is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Port counters with a shoot takedown. Cabrera fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
