The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rose sprawls well. Rose wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hong gets slowly back to his feet.
Rose has taken the fight to the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hong.
A nice left hand lands by Rose.
Hong has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rose after a bit of a struggle.
Hong manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Hong doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rose trying to control the position from guard on top but Hong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hong looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rose is defending well. Hong quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rose has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hong celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
