The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bowen Jr blocks a jab.
Bowen Jr keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stevens.
Bowen Jr swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Stevens lands with a shot to the body.
Bowen Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Bowen Jr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stevens, pushing him back against the cage.

Stevens's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fighters circling - Stevens throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A counter left hand to the body from Bowen Jr misses its target.

Stevens unleashes a big counter combination but Bowen Jr bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Bowen Jr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stevens throws a poor cross that misses
and Bowen Jr counters with a left to the body.

Bowen Jr was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Bowen Jr walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stevens checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Chris Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stevens connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bowen Jr. Bowen Jr circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Oh Bowen Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stevens on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bowen Jr goes for a double leg but Stevens avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stevens continues to drive forward.

Stevens throws a lazy right hand but Bowen Jr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Stevens cracks Bowen Jr on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bowen Jr falls backwards against the cage. Stevens follows up with more strikes that drop Bowen Jr to his knees. Stevens keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bowen Jr! This one is all over!

Chris Stevens tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
