The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jury.
Lima feinted with a counter takedown.
Jury scores with a jab.
Jury misses with a wild body shot.
Lima misses with a shot to the body
enabling Jury to counter with a crisp jab.
Jury throws a hook but Lima blocks it.
Lima loads up on a big right hand but Jury slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jury lands a lovely overhand right.
Lima tries for a takedown but Jury sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jury looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Lima fires out a quick counter leg kick but Jury just manages to avoid it.
Lima darts in looking for a takedown but Jury gets double underhooks and turns Lima into the cage.
Lima is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jury to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Lima. That's going to take a lot out of him.
