The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Morrison Jr. looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Hughes is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morrison Jr. pulls his head out easily.

Hughes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Morrison Jr. is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hughes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hughes shrugs it off.

Hughes is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Morrison Jr. works his way to full guard. Good work.
Morrison Jr. wants to sweep here but Hughes controlling him for the moment.
Hughes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hughes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Morrison Jr. to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hughes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Morrison Jr. pulls down on the head and he's put Hughes to sleep! This one is all over!
