The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bijanek lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Velasquez circles away quickly and effectively.
Velasquez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Some wild striking there from Bijanek.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Velasquez fails with the takedown.
Velasquez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bijanek.

Bijanek controls Velasquez momentarily but Velasquez frees himself.
Bijanek has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Velasquez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bijanek has tightened it up now! Velasquez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
