And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 52 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toktogulovich Bakiyev!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakiyev throws a jab but it's blocked by Labosky.
Labosky lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bakiyev backs up against the cage.
Labosky gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Labosky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Labosky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bakiyev paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bakiyev slips a jab and a cross from Labosky.
Labosky throws a front kick that sends Bakiyev stumbling back into the cage.
Bakiyev misses with a hook.
Bakiyev throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Labosky tries to clinch there but Bakiyev circles away.
Bakiyev misses with a hook to the body
and Labosky counters with a nice uppercut.
Labosky scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Bakiyev is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Labosky connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Bakiyev covering up! Labosky comes in with a big uppercut and Bakiyev goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jean Labosky!
