Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, eL IsoG!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mat Cauthon!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cauthon drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
IsoG wants to stand and escape but Cauthon is having none of it.
IsoG wants to sweep but no luck.
IsoG can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cauthon controls the pace.
IsoG is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cauthon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cauthon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of IsoG's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
IsoG not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cauthon is in close to IsoG's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Cauthon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cauthon works over IsoG with some ground and pound from guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cauthon drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cauthon seems to have locked his on tight now - IsoG screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cauthon, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Mat Cauthon!
