The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ron Honeybunn and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers throws a wild body kick that Jamay sees coming a mile off.
Jamay looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rogers.
Jamay is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rogers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rogers was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rogers throws a push kick but Jamay slaps the foot to one side.
Jamay looks to throw the jab but Rogers is out of range.
Rogers tries to counter with a takedown but Jamay is quick to defend against it.
Jamay moves out of range of the leg kick from Rogers.
Jamay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rogers but Rogers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rogers throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rogers fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rogers throws a leg kick which misses Jamay's front leg but catches the back leg as Jamay tries to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Rogers counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rogers.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jamay has his foot on Rogers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rogers works his way back into a safe position though.
Jamay escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rogers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rogers keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jamay's head.
Rogers avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rogers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jamay has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rogers doesn't defend quickly enough and Jamay has managed to lock this one up! Can Rogers escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jamay on a fantastic submission victory.
