Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Abdul Kaloev! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pual Killer! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Killer ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Killer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kaloev scores with a takedown into Killer's guard.
Kaloev drops back looking for a leg! Killer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Killer manages to kick Kaloev off! Kaloev jumps back into Killer's guard. Killer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kaloev has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Killer has his hands on Kaloev's head, controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaloev slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Killer can't do much from the bottom here. Kaloev tries to move into full mount but can't pass Killer's legs.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Abdul Kaloev! A less than humble Abdul Kaloev misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
