Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chad Davis (ranked 6156 p4p, 6469 weight class) and Asaki Hanaki (ranked 567 p4p, 586 weight class). Hanaki has chosen The HU - Wolf Totem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Asaki Hanaki!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hanaki tries to clinch but Davis is having none of it.
Davis seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Chad Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hanaki misses with a takedown attempt - Davis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hanaki blocks a head kick by Davis.
Hanaki throws a head kick but Davis moves out of range.
Hanaki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davis pinned against the cage. Davis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've been hearing reports that Davis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Hanaki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Davis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hanaki circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davis lands a big head kick that sends Hanaki tumbling to the mat! Davis takes a step backwards and waves Hanaki back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Davis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hanaki is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Hanaki is still on wobbly legs! Can Davis finish him?
Hanaki avoids the head kick by Davis.
Davis plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Hanaki to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Hanaki just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
