Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randolph Brown (ranked 3936 p4p, 5656 weight class) and Neil Walker (ranked 460 p4p, 580 weight class). Randolph Brown is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Randolph Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neil Walker!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ben Hemmingworth and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing.
Walker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brown.

Brown gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brown is trying to keep Walker in close.
Walker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Walker's guard.

Brown might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Walker wants to stand up but Brown is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Walker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brown manages to get himself to full guard.

Brown seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Brown manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Walker manages to get himself to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brown is working hard here to advance position.
Walker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Brown wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.

Walker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brown is aware though and is defending well.
Brown stands and throws Walker's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Brown's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

A close round but Neil Walker will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Brown closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Walker has one foot on Brown's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Walker tries to land a knee to the head but Brown blocks with his arms.
Brown is working for takedown but Walker is calmly controlling the position for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Walker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Brown pulls Walker in close to prevent any damage.
Brown has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Neil Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brown.
Walker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Brown darts in looking for a takedown but Walker gets double underhooks and turns Brown into the cage.

Brown works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Walker is trying to keep Brown in close.

Neil Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Walker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown.

Walker is looking for a sweep. Brown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Brown is trying to work for a kimura but Walker is defending well.
Brown is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Walker!

Brown goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Walker turns into him and now he's in Brown's guard.
Walker tries to stand but Brown is controlling from the bottom.
Brown wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brown is on top in guard.

Walker has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.

Walker is not content to let Brown control the position.
Randolph Brown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Neil Walker is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Brown advances nicely into full mount.

Randolph Brown showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Walker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Neil Walker rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
