Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rasputin Balsim (ranked 4931 p4p, 4472 weight class) and Danny Sitsongrit (ranked 203 p4p, 173 weight class). Danny Sitsongrit will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rasputin Balsim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danny Sitsongrit! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Sitsongrit. Balsim throws a lazy uppercut
and Sitsongrit counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Balsim fails with a takedown attempt. Despite the aggression on Sitsongrit's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Sitsongrit lands a jab-cross combination. Balsim shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sitsongrit counters with a one-two to the body. Sitsongrit connects with a solid leg kick. Balsim closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Balsim looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, if Balsim is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balsim trying to mount his opponent but Sitsongrit defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Balsim sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sitsongrit defending well though. Balsim looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Balsim wants to pass to mount but Sitsongrit is defending the position. Balsim moves nicely into side control. Balsim has knee on belly and moves into mount. Balsim with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Balsim looking to control and managing it successfully. Sitsongrit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Balsim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Balsim working for a submission but Sitsongrit is keeping him at bay.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Danny Sitsongrit. I think Sitsongrit has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
