The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Edwards misses.
Tikhachev tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Edwards is able to avoid easily.
Tikhachev throws a head kick that misses.
A jab lands there for Tikhachev.
Tikhachev cracks Edwards with a good jab.

Edwards ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tikhachev moves away.
Edwards avoids the body shot from Tikhachev.
Tikhachev uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Edwards.

Edwards on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Tikhachev walks into a stiff left hand from Edwards.
Edwards looks to land a left hand but Tikhachev moved out of range nicely.
Tikhachev looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tikhachev uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Edwards has time to react.

It looks like Banky Edwards has been cut.
Tikhachev takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Edwards is still on wobbly legs! Can Tikhachev finish him?
Edwards gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Tikhachev gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

After the fight, Arseniy Tikhachev was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
