Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petar Dordevic (ranked 3716 p4p, 3489 weight class) and Ludwig Goebbels (ranked 391 p4p, 371 weight class). Goebbels is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Erika- Herms Neil. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goebbels swinging wildly here.
Dordevic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Goebbels.
Goebbels scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dordevic doesn't seem bothered though.
Dordevic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No joy there for Goebbels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dordevic appears to be looking for a big counter.
Dordevic uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Goebbels.
Goebbels pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Dordevic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dordevic shoots in looking for a takedown. Goebbels tries to sprawl out of it but Dordevic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goebbels manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Goebbels. Dordevic does a little dance to reset his feet.

Goebbels throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dordevic.
Dordevic throws a counter high kick but Goebbels was just alert enough to avoid it.

and Dordevic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dordevic closes the distance and clinches up with Goebbels, looking for a takedown. Dordevic pushes Goebbels against the cage but Goebbels circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Goebbels slaps away a takedown attempt from Dordevic, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Goebbels unleashes a big counter combination but Dordevic bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Dordevic is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dordevic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dordevic goes for a double leg but Goebbels avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Goebbels continues to drive forward.
Goebbels's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
