Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Walker (ranked 4279 p4p, 4299 weight class) and Augustus Gadela (ranked 491 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Neil Walker has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neil Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Augustus Gadela! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker goes for a double leg but Gadela avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gadela continues to drive forward. Gadela breaks the clinch.
Walker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gadela defends it nicely. Walker tries to clinch there but Gadela circles away.
Gadela is looking for the big counter here. Walker shoots in for a takedown but Gadela shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Gadela steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Walker. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neil Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gadela gets a clinch. Gadela has Walker pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gadela pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Walker tumbling to the mat - Gadela dives into Walker's guard. Walker has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Gadela has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walker looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gadela is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Walker sees it coming and defends easily. Gadela is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker is looking to control Gadela's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Walker avoid being mounted? Walker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gadela tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Walker is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Gadela jumps into side control! Walker explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Walker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gadela manages to avoid it. Gadela tries a quick counter leg kick but Walker is wise to it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gadela pushes Walker up against the cage in a clinch. Gadela is pressed up against the cage. Walker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gadela down to the mat. Gadela avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Walker shoots in and drives through. Gadela sprawls well. The fight moves into the clinch position. Gadela dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Gadela pushes Walker back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Walker tries to score a body lock takedown but Gadela shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Gadela breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Walker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gadela pinned against the cage. Gadela gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gadela throws a counter combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gadela darts in and clinches Walker up against the cage. Gadela jumps guard.

Gadela is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Walker wants to control from the top but Gadela keeps moving. Gadela looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Walker passes into side control.

Augustus Gadela dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Walker tries to clinch but Gadela is having none of it. Gadela leaves Walker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Walker looks for a takedown but Gadela sprawls well. Walker shoots in but Gadela avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neil Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gadela darts in and clinches Walker up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gadela has Walker pressed against the cage.
Gadela is trying to drag Walker to the mat but Walker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Walker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gadela is fending him off so far but Walker persists. Nope, Gadela circles away and we're back to standing. Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Walker throws a sloppy head kick and Gadela moves out of range easily. Gadela gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Gadela gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Walker regains guard.
Gadela stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Augustus Gadela has got the better of the ground game so far. Gadela controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker keeping moving, preventing Gadela from controlling successfully. Gadela content to stall in guard here. Gadela being controlled here momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gadela trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gadela is looking to chop away at Walker's legs. Neil Walker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gadela looks to score with a jab to the body but Walker is just out of range. Gadela closes the distance and clinches. Gadela works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Gadela would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gadela with a flurry of punches that miss. Walker keeping full guard, as Gadela tries to pass. Walker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Walker is pulling down on Gadela's head. It's preventing any offense from Gadela, at least for the moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Walker looking for a sweep. Not yet Walker, not yet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Augustus Gadela showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Walker fails to land with a series of punches.

Nice jab there from Walker. Gadela closes the distance and clinches up with Walker, looking for a takedown. Gadela pushes Walker against the cage but Walker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A momentary lapse in concentration from Walker enables Gadela to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Walker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Gadela looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gadela works his way back into a safe position though. Gadela controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Walker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Walker is trying to control the position but Gadela postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Walker gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Walker kicks Gadela off and gets to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Gadela drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Walker is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Gadela presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Walker is trying to break the clinch but Gadela has him pressed against the cage. Gadela fails to pull guard.
Neil Walker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Augustus Gadela is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gadela has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Walker scores with a shot to the side of Gadela's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Neil Walker showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gadela has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
