Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tom Faire (ranked 2122 p4p, 6074 weight class) and Shawn Moore (ranked 106 p4p, 239 weight class). Shawn Moore will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Faire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shawn Moore! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faire shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Moore is trying to defend but Faire finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Moore trying to hold on to Faire's head to control him but Faire postures up.
Faire tries to pass the half guard into mount. Moore knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Moore trying to control here.
Faire passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Moore! Faire sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faire working for a guillotine from mount but Moore is in no mood to give up. Moore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Faire. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Moore wants to try and get back to his feet. Faire is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Moore has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Faire takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Moore tries to lock up and control but Faire gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Faire controlling his opponent. Faire is working for a guillotine from mount but Moore frees his head quite easily.
Faire controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Faire goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Moore turns into him and now he's in Faire's guard.
Faire tries to land a sweep but no joy. Moore throws a strike but Faire rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Faire slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Faire's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faire passes into half guard. Moore is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Faire trying to mount his opponent but Moore defends it. Faire takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Faire looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Still in half guard, Faire seems content to control. Faire wants to pass to mount but Moore is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Moore is trying to get back to full guard. Faire passes to full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faire is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Moore is surviving well by controlling Faire's body position as best he can. Faire takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Faire jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Moore manages to avoid the submission attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moore is trying to get back to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Faire dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Moore dives in and scores a takedown into Faire's guard. Faire bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moore's guard. Faire passes easily into side control. Nice work. Faire staying calm. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore tries to get back to half guard but can't. Faire is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moore knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've been hearing that Faire has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Faire staying calm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore prevents Faire from moving into mount. Moore tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Faire wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Faire just content to control the position. Faire has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Moore is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Faire yanks on the arm and Moore is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Faire.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tom Faire! Tom Faire took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
