We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Akhtankhanov walks into a stiff left hand from Zilinski.
Akhtankhanov throws a jab when Zilinski was well out of range.
It looked like Zilinski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zilinski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Akhtankhanov.

Zilinski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Akhtankhanov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Zilinski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well Akhtankhanov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
