Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Smith (ranked 2624 p4p, 7084 weight class) and Jenna Salvacion (ranked 259 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes into the arena with HighWay to Hell blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rodney Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jenna Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Smith throws a head kick that half lands.
Salvacion takes a kick to the side of the head.
Salvacion gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Smith.
Salvacion is rocked!
Smith jabs Salvacion right on the nose. Salvacion blinks but takes it well.
Salvacion is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Smith closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Smith is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Salvacion doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smith.
Salvacion makes his way to full guard, as Smith worked for a kimura.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith pushing down on Salvacion's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Salvacion seems to have recovered his senses.
Smith trying to mount his opponent but Salvacion defends it.
Smith is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Salvacion is just riding it out for now. Smith eventually gives up the hold.
Smith works his way into side control.
Smith tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Smith has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Smith has hold of Salvacion's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Salvacion seems comfortable defending it but Smith has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Salvacion is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Salvacion is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Smith couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rodney Smith!
Rodney Smith took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
