Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boby Ramrod!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kelly Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramrod feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Ramrod changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ramrod has gone for a leg lock! Salvacion slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ramrod's guard.
Ramrod wants to sweep here but Salvacion controlling him for the moment.
Ramrod throws his legs up looking for a submission but Salvacion uses it to pass to side control.
Ramrod is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ramrod manages to work his way to half guard, despite Salvacion's best efforts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Salvacion shoots for a takedown but Ramrod saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ramrod shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Salvacion pinned against the cage. Salvacion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Salvacion keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And Salvacion tries to counter it with a takedown but Ramrod pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ramrod shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ramrod seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Salvacion's chin but Salvacion turns very nicely into Ramrod's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Salvacion.

Ramrod on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ramrod tries to get out of the position.
Ramrod manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Salvacion manages to get himself to full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ramrod, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
