Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Furioto shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Furioto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Furioto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Furioto drops back looking for a leg! Rabbit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rabbit manages to kick Furioto off! Furioto jumps back into Rabbit's guard.
Rabbit is trying to keep Furioto in close.
Furioto throws a strike but Rabbit rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Furioto wants to sweep but no luck.

Furioto is looking for a triangle but Rabbit pushes his legs off easily.

Furioto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rabbit is aware though and is defending well.
Rabbit has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Furioto has his foot on Rabbit's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rabbit works his way back into a safe position though.

Furioto looking for a sweep. Not yet Furioto, not yet.
Furioto is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Rabbit is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Zenarals' House that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Rabbit trying to control but Furioto is working from the bottom.

Furioto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Rabbit has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Furioto to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rabbit is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Furioto pulls down on the head and he's put Rabbit to sleep! This one is all over!
