Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benei Gillespie (ranked 4883 p4p, 5678 weight class) and Augustus Gadela (ranked 524 p4p, 576 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benei Gillespie! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Augustus Gadela! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Francis DeMontford and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gadela closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Gadela fails to pull guard.
Gillespie is trying to break free. Gillespie pressing his opponent against the cage. Gadela escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gillespie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gadela sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gillespie somewhat. Gadela tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Gillespie tries to clinch but Gadela moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gadela fails to land the takedown. Gadela takes the fight into the clinch. Gillespie is looking to break free of the clinch but Gadela has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gadela jumps guard.
Gillespie could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gillespie looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Gillespie wants to control from the top but Gadela keeps moving. Gillespie stands and throws Gadela's legs to the side, diving into side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gadela can do anything to dispel that myth. Gillespie has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gadela!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gadela is looking to improve his position but Gillespie isn't that keen on the idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gillespie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gadela is looking to escape. Gillespie controlling from mount. Gillespie is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Gillespie!

Benei Gillespie decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
