The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messi clinches up with Collins and pushes him back against the cage.
Messi lands a hook to the side of the head.
Messi is pressed up against the cage. Collins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Messi down to the mat. Messi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Messi scores with a punch to the head.
Messi throws a nice looking combination but Collins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Messi clinches.
Messi makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Messi lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Messi lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Collins to his knees! Messi keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
