Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Corey Woodys!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Walling!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walling looking to score a takedown here. Woodys is defending well but Walling drives through and ends up in Woodys's guard.
Walling drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Woodys manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Walling has Woodys in his guard.
Woodys knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Walling on the ground.
Woodys stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walling swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Walling looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Walling looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Woodys is defending well. Walling quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Woodys has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Walling celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
