Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Gaizka Elizondo (ranked 6527 p4p, 5522 weight class) and Cyrius Python (ranked 634 p4p, 564 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gaizka Elizondo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cyrius Python! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Python ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Elizondo moves away. Elizondo slips a jab from Python. Elizondo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Python moves away. Elizondo swats away the attempt to clinch by Python. Python moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Nice uppercut lands for Elizondo. That snapped Python's head back.

Python acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Elizondo with a body punch. A glancing blow. Python tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Elizondo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Python moves to clinch but Elizondo breaks away and Elizondo counters with a straight right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Python closes the distance looking to clinch letting Elizondo counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Elizondo connects with a right hand. Python shakes it off. Elizondo jabbing away but nothing is landing. A punch lands to the side of Python 's head but he takes it in his stride. Elizondo lands a slapping body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Elizondo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Elizondo. Python on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Elizondo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A wild punch that just about connected. Elizondo is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Elizondo lands with a straight right. Python didn't see that one coming. Elizondo scores with a punch to the head. Elizondo scores with the left hand. Python knows he should have avoided that one. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gaizka Elizondo dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Elizondo scores with a sloppy right hand. Python should have avoided that one. Python has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Python is looking to clinch. A little feinted left hand from Elizondo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Python gets a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Python as Elizondo tries to tie him up. Python tries to work over Elizondo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Elizondo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Elizondo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Python can do to turn this around? Python is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Elizondo is keeping busy. Nice body punch from Elizondo. Elizondo makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short right hand to the side of the head by Elizondo. Python breaks the clinch.
Elizondo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Elizondo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Python takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Cyrius Python is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Python throws a wild body kick that Elizondo sees coming a mile off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Python motions for Elizondo to come forward. Python throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Python tries a head kick but it misses.
Elizondo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Python scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Elizondo doesn't seem bothered though. A decent looking body kick lands there for Python. Python has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Python walks into a left hand. Nice body punch from Elizondo. Python throws a lazy uppercut
and Elizondo counters with a nice uppercut.
Python is rocked! Python wants to clinch but Elizondo slips to the side and before Python has any time to reset, Elizondo cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Gaizka Elizondo! Post fight, Gaizka Elizondo took to the microphone: 'I'M back this is my warm up cyrius is the most successful kt fighter with the least amount of talent. Want a rematch earn it mf!!'. Cyrius Python spoke after the fight, saying 'well that was a hard fight and i ended on the wrong corner'.
