Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams shoots in but Heard avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Adams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Heard is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Adams fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fester Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Heard fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Adams to the ground. Heard is now in Adams's guard.
Heard wants to control from the top but Adams keeps moving.
Heard prevents Adams from getting back to his feet.
Heard postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heard engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Adams wants to stand and escape but Heard is having none of it.

Heard wants to control from the top but Adams keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adams is looking to stand up but Heard isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Adams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Heard's waist but Heard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Adams off to one side.

Adams tries to keep at a distance but Heard has taken the fight into the clinch.
Adams misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Heard is looking to take this one to the mat.

Heard breaks from the clinch.
Heard doesn't manage to clinch there - Adams circles away.
Adams wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Adams manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Heard on his heels. He'll look to pass Heard's guard now, I'm sure.
Heard keeping moving, preventing Adams from controlling successfully.
Adams is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Heard is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Heard is trying to control the position but Adams postures up.

Adams is posturing up here but Heard has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Adams tries to roll out but it's too tight and Adams has to tap! Slick submission there by Heard!
