Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Macaco Cidad�o (ranked 6347 p4p, 6245 weight class) and Roberto Congo (ranked 244 p4p, 240 weight class). Cidad�o comes to the ring accompanied by Boogie 2nite - Booty Luv. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Macaco Cidad�o!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roberto Congo!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cidad�o misses with a hook
and Congo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Congo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Congo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cidad�o tries to bum rush Congo with a series of wild strikes but Congo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cidad�o has been working on his boxing with his coaches at BARNEY MEATHOUSE in the buildup to the fight.

and Congo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Congo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Cidad�o takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A jab from Cidad�o finds it's way through Congo's defenses.
Cidad�o ducks into a a hook from Congo and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cidad�o stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Congo.

Congo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Cidad�o swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Congo counters with a straight right that drops Cidad�o on his ass! Cidad�o jumps back to his feet. He seems OK to continue so we'll get back to the action.
Cidad�o is rocked!
Congo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oh Cidad�o is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice leg kick lands there from Congo.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Congo lands a nice shot to the body.
Cidad�o seems to have got his legs back now.
Look low, kick high! Congo uses the oldest trick in the book to send Cidad�o tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Congo is absolutely delighted - when Cidad�o wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Roberto Congo!
Roberto Congo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
