Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higgins shoots in but McNamara avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Higgins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McNamara swivels and escapes.
McNamara has managed to clinch.
Higgins breaks from the clinch.
McNamara shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than McNamara was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McNamara is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Higgins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
A lull in the action here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Higgins wants to control but McNamara postures up.
McNamara wants to stand but Higgins is controlling his arm.
McNamara tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Higgins wants to improve his position, back to half guard but McNamara has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Higgins's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Higgins is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for McNamara!
