Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rebel Smith (ranked 2234 p4p, 1027 weight class) and Death Minister (ranked 245 p4p, 127 weight class). Minister is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rhapsody of Fire. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith swings away with a body shot that misses
and Minister counters with a nice uppercut.
Minister lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smith at a distance.
Rebel Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith loads up on a big right hand but Minister slips the punch.
Minister takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jab, jab by Smith - just one landing.
Smith on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Minister scores with a sloppy right hand. Smith should have avoided that one.
Minister jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Smith is rocked!
Smith takes one on the button.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith misses with an uppercut.
Minister swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've been told by Smith's head coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Minister swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Minister slips under a jab.
Smith seems to have got his legs back now.
Smith avoids the body shot from Minister.
A telegraphed right hand from Minister misses the target.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Minister swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Minister misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.
The crowd cheers as Minister lands an impressive looking overhand right. Smith doesn't seem phased though.
Minister has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Smith lands with a nice body punch.
Smith misses with a body shot.
Minister lands a nice shot that snaps Smith's head back.
Minister uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.

Minister throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from Minister. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Smith is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Minister digs a good body shot into Smith's ribs.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Minister was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.

Minister cracks Smith with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smith looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Minister finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Minister is stalking Smith. Smith circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Minister, and it's lights out! Smith really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Death Minister looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Your soul is claimed, I will see you again in HELL.'.
